Compatibility: The original injection-molded AO Ampoule Opener, is available for use ONLY with DIN AMPOULES and DIN SIZING European standard ampoules. We’ve recently made advances in our production techniques and are able to manufacture the AO to suit any size or type of ampoule available on the market. Contact our sales team using the form at the bottom of this page for more information.

Packaging: Sold individually or as a kit (one ea. 1, 2 & 5 ml)

Performance: AO is a single-part handheld opener designed to open an ampoule on a bench top. The device simply slides down over the ampoule until it is enveloped and resistance is met. Slight additional pressure is applied to AO until a snap is heard. When lifting the AO straight up after the break, the ampoule is revealed exposing the clean break. The neck of the ampoule is temporarily secured in the upper section of the opener for easy disposal.

Sterilization and Reuse: Our injection molded AO is a fully reusable device that can safely open hundreds of glass ampoules before replacement. AO can be purchased in sterilized form or in the non-sterile version – the standard product.  AO can be safely autoclaved at 120 degrees C for 20 minutes, for 20 cycles, before being replaced.

Customization: AO can be custom manufactured for any size and type of glass ampoule made. Please contact a sales representative using the form at the bottom of this page for details. We can make you a custom test version of AO called AOT within 72 hours of receiving your specifications and or samples of your ampoules. Prices range from $15-30 per unit in quantities from 1 to 10. This allows you to test the opener before ordering much larger volumes if needed. Much Larger discounts are available as order volume increases.

Product & Packaging Customizations

Promotional Use/Custom Branding: As AO is designed to open unsupported ampoules it is a smaller opener. It is easy to use as a promotional piece and can be included in ampoule packaging or supplied separately in a custom branded box with instruction or other literature inside. AO can be custom printed with a company’s logo and other requirements can be met. Promotional use of AO is available on high volume purchase. Product Packaging Options

1. Individual card type packaging: Instruction literature is supplied with each individual unit.
2. Kit: The AO can be combined in any configuration required by a client (i.e. 1, 2, and 5ml can be packaged together – as is the default kit configuration or the AO sizes can be combined in any other way to meet your requirements).
3. Bulk: All products are available in custom bulk configurations.
4. Custom packaging is available subject to our design and construction abilities.

Product Literature: Safety sheets are supplied with all products when individually packaged. Bulk literature is available when required by the customer. English is the primary language, however can be made available in other languages per customer requirements. Literature sheets can be customized for clients needs.
